Design to Automated Manufacturing
Design to automated manufacturing (D2AM) is ModArch’s software innovation to manage our automation processes. D2AM reads design inputs and through a series of AI calculations produces the instructions for the robots around the factory to produce the modules needed.

Input RequirementsÂ
For the software to work, a series of inputs are required to begin the D2AM process include material availability, machine availability, product design and optional process instructions.
Ai Initialization
The D2AM AI software conducts various tests to compile given data to produce code instructing robot action. This phase also checks for project feasibility in regards to the materials and robotics available.
Instructional Output
The AI software generates a set of automatic executable files that determines the various specifications of robot actions, the specifications include the robot paths, automated fixturing, building sequence and process parameters. If there are materials missing, D2AM sends out orders to replenish stock.
Automated Manufacturing
Based on the orders given by the D2AM software, the robots around the factory will begin their tasks and complete the manufacturing instructions to the letter. Both the robotic movements and the inventory ordering and tracking is managed by the D2AM software which requires significantly less human supervision.
